Tips For First Day Success

Study and review.

Consider the on-boarding period of a new job an extension of the interview. The same amount of study and preparation that helped land you the role will also help make the transition into it easier. Reread your interview notes and any materials you collected during the interview process. Do some web research on current events or news about your new company and industry. Your up-to-date knowledge and recall of key discussion points from earlier meetings will reassure those that hired you that they’ve made the right choice.
